Project Description
The website www.loipenportal.de provides daily updates on approximately 730 cross-country trails in more than 100 DSV Nordic Aktiv centers, with a total trail length of about 4,300 km. Filters by length, difficulty level, skiing technique, and trail conditions—as well as data on snow depths, weather, travel information, and services—make it easier to plan personalized tours.
Objective
The Cross-Country Skiing Portal allows cross-country skiers to easily and specifically search for trails that have recently been groomed. The goal is to provide winter sports enthusiasts with information on trail routes, conditions, and services to enable safe and personalized trip planning. Detailed filter options and up-to-date data help prevent trails from being too easy or too difficult, thereby optimizing the cross-country skiing experience.
