Three partners—one goal: making winter sports sustainable.
The German Ski Association (DSV), as Germany’s leading winter sports association, the Snowboard Association Germany (SNBGER), and the Foundation for Safety in Skiing (SIS) are joining forces in a joint sustainability program and organization. Each brings its own strengths to the table: the DSV in organized competitive and recreational sports, SNBGER in snowboarding, youth sports, and freestyle sports, and the SIS in safety, research, and sustainability.
Mission & Values
We are passionate about winter sports—in all their forms: in elite and recreational sports, in clubs, on the slopes and on the cross-country trails, in winter and in summer. For us, sustainability means achieving lasting success—while respecting the environment, people, and economic foundations. Our approach serves as the foundation for responsibly advancing winter sports in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the German Sustainability Strategy 2025, and other international agreements.
