Areas of Activity and Responsibilities
Through the joint strategy “Winter Sports of Tomorrow 2040+” developed by the DSV, SNBGER, and SIS, we are establishing a commitment to responsible action. Overall, we are focusing on materiality and our greatest levers for change. This involves not only environmental and social aspects but also the economic aspects of sustainability. Specifically, our strategic objectives across six areas of action encompass the corresponding areas of responsibility: winter sports federations, training and competition centers, winter sports events, and winter sports destinations.
Goals & Indicators
The areas of action cover the activities of winter sports organizations and each address several goals of the 2030 Agenda. They link various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and form the overarching strategic areas for winter sports. They require a coordinated effort among winter sports federations, event organizers, policymakers, and athletes to shape a sustainable future. We have defined goals, measures, and key indicators for these areas of action. This is
an integral part of our federation’s strategy.
